Born in Leeds, Harvey can play at scrum half or centre. He is a pupil at Royds played for Methley Warriors before moving on to Oulton Invaders. He joined the Rhinos scholarship in 2013 and has also represented the Leeds Service Area.

HE has enjoyed success with Oulton, where he won the Yorkshire Cup in 2013 as well as the Leeds and District Cup and Challenge Cup in 2014.

The player he most admires in the game is Sam Burgess and his favourite sportspeople are George Burgess and Rob Burrow. He likes all types of music and his favourite songs are both by Eminem - Survival and Till I Collapse. Before a game he likes to listen to motivational music and wears the same boxer shorts,  Away from rugby his ideal occupation would be a PE Teacher.
