Nathan was a new recruit for the Rhinos Scholarship in 2014 and later earned a place in the Under-19s squad. The Dewsbury born centre has played for Birstall Victoria and he currently plays for Dewsbury Celtic. He has won the Kirklees Cup four times with his school, St John Fisher and the Heavy Woollen Cup three times with Dewsbury Celtic.

His favourite sportsperson is former Rhinos player Keith Senior and the player he most admires in the game is New Zealand Warriors player Konrad Hurrell.

His earliest rugby memory was watching his da play and he says it was his father who has been the biggest influence on his rugby and got him into playing the game. The most memorable moment of his rugby career was signing his contract for Leeds.
