Connor is from Altofts and can play at either prop or second row. He was selected to join the Rhinos Scholarship in 2012 and currently plays for amateur club Normanton Knights.

He has represented and captained Yorkshire 14s and has also played for the Wakefield Service Area. The competitions he has won include Wakefield Schools Cup in 2012 and 2012 with his school Freeston Academy.

He supports NRL side South Sydney Rabbitohs and American football side Philadelphia Eagles. The player he most admires in the game is South Sydney player Sam Burgess and his childhood hero was Castleford legend Dean Sampson.

He is related to footballer Richard Creswell and he played cricket when he was younger. His ideal occupation away from rugby would be a sports scientist. His favourite film is Pulp fiction and he likes listen to rap music.
