What's on this week at the Rhinos

With the 2026 season now in full swing, Rhinos fans have a full menu of matches available to watch over the course of the week.

Huddersfield Giants await the Men's First Team, Sholars and Reserves as the Yorkshire sides clash across the three competitions from Wednesday to Saturday. Alongside the Reserves on Saturday, the Rhinos Wheelchair side are in Challenge Cup action against Edinburgh Giants, plus the club's Under-19s Women's Academy open their season away against Warrington Wolves. Rounding off the week, the Rhinos Women look to win their second and last Challenge Cup group game of the season against London Broncos.

Here are the matches coming up for you this weekend:

Wednesday 15th April

Huddersfield Giants Scholarship vs Leeds Rhinos Scholarship

Looking to put defeats to Leigh and Hull behind them, the Rhinos Under-16s get the week underway as they travel to Laund Hill to take on Huddersfield Giants, kick off 7pm.

The Rhinos come into the fourth round of the Scholarship season with one win in three games in 2026, but Simon Brown's side face stern opposition as the Giants look to bounce back from last week's loss to Hull, having secured wins against Castleford and Wakefield earlier in the season.

Friday 17th April

Huddersfield Giants vs Leeds Rhinos

Back in action following last week's break in the schedule for the Betfred Challenge Cup, Leeds Rhinos can keep pressure on league leaders Warrington Wolves as the Rhinos clash with Huddersfield at The ACCU Stadium on Friday night.

Round eight of the Betfred Super League pits the Rhinos up against a Giants side that has found form in recent weeks following the departure of head coach Luke Robinson. Now coached by Liam Finn, Huddersfield have grabbed their first wins of the season against Wigan and York recently, but will face a different challenge on Friday night in a Leeds side that secured a huge derby win over Bradford last time out.

Tickets can be purchased now online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk or over the phone on 0371 423 1315. For more information, check out the match information.

Saturday 18th April

Huddersfield Giants Reserves vs Leeds Rhinos Reserves

Saturday's triple header gets underway at 11am as the Rhinos and Giants Reserves meet at Laund Hill in the first game of the day.

An 18-try thrashing of Bradford saw the Rhinos bounce up the league table as Chev Walker's side have had a mixed bag of results five games into the start of the season. They hope to add a third win of the year against a Huddersfield side who are yet to win a match as they've started 2026 with defeats to Castleford, Warrington, Wigan, Hull KR and Bradford.

Edinburgh Giants Wheelchair vs Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair

Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair's Challenge Cup campaign continues this weekend as the Rhinos look to progress with a win over Edinburgh Giants, kick off 1.30pm.

James Simpson-Hill's side were convincing in their first game of the competition as York Knights were beaten 182-10, and take on the Giants a week after facing the same club in the opening game of the Wheelchair Super League season. The Giants beat Rochdale 66-10 in their first Cup game to set up a first Cup meeting with Leeds in the last eight of this year's competition.

Warrington Wolves Under-19s Women vs Leeds Rhinos Under-19s Women

Completing Saturday's slate of matches, the Rhinos Under-19s Women's side begin their season with an away trip to face Warrington Wolves at Victoria Park, kick off 3pm.

With a cohort of new players joining Ellis Pascall's ranks for this season, the Rhinos aim to make a winning start, especially after winning this fixture 42-10 in 2025. The Wolves come into 2026 looking for a better campaign than last year, winning only one match.

Sunday 19th April

Leeds Rhinos Women vs London Broncos Women

A huge match rounds off the weekend as Leeds Rhinos Women look to book their place in the knockout stages of the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup as they clash with London Broncos at West Park, kick off 2pm.

Lois Forsell's side have put themselves in pole position to finish top of their group after three tries from Ruby Enright led the Rhinos to victory over Leigh in their first group game. Sunday sees them take on the Broncos for the first time in any competition as the 2025 Championship league leaders head to Leeds for the first time.

Tickets for the game can be purchased in advance online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, or on matchday tickets will be available to purchase at the entry gate (cash or card payments available. Subject to availability)

Tickets are priced at £10 for Adults (aged 17 and over), and FREE for Juniors (aged 16 and under). The game is also available to watch live on Rhinos TV Plus for subscribers.

London Pulse vs NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball

Lauren Palmer's Rhinos Netball side are in action too as they travel to the Copper Box Arena to take on second-placed London Pulse in round seven of the Netball Super League season.

Despite losing out to Pulse at the end of March, Leeds look to get back to winning ways to cut the gap between themselves and Celtic Dragons in the rankings. Pulse enter this week off the back of an all-London clash with Mavericks as Sam Bird's side eye up the chance to move closer to the top of the league table.

Tickets are available to buy now online.
