What's on this week at the Rhinos

With the 2026 season now in full swing, Rhinos fans have a full menu of matches available to watch over the course of the week.

After the Academy get the weekend started on Thursday night against the Giants, AMT Headingley hosts two matches for fans on Friday as Brad Arthur's first team and Chev Walker's Reserves are both in action from 5.15pm. Moving into Saturday, another full day sees both the Women's Super League squad and Under-19s Women take on Featherstone Rovers, whilst the Netball team travel to Loughborough to take on the Lightning.

Here are the matches coming up for you this weekend:


Thursday 21st May

 Leeds Rhinos Under-18s Academy vs Huddersfield Giants Under-18s Academy

The halfway mark of the Academy season sees Chev Walker's Rhinos side back in action at Stanningley as they take on Huddersfield Giants Under-18s, kick off 7pm.

The young Rhinos have enjoyed an unbeaten 2026 after four games as they added a win against Hull a fortnight ago to victories over Leigh, Castleford and Bradford. They take on a Huddersfield side with one win in four games so far, and haven't beaten Leeds in this competition since 2023.

Friday 22nd May

Leeds Rhinos vs Huddersfield Giants

Round 12 of the Betfred Super League sees Yorkshire rivals Leeds and Huddersfield pitted head to head as Brad Arthur's side takes on a Giants outfit headed up by new coach Jim Lenihan.

After their convincing 56-22 result against Huddersfield in round nine, the Rhinos look to continue their unbeaten streak on home soil against a Giants side that they have only lost once to on home since 2020. The Giants travel to Leeds on a four-game winless run after being beaten by St Helens last time out.

Leeds Rhinos Reserves vs Castleford Tigers Reserves

Before the main Super League game, fans get extra Rugby League for no extra cost as the Rhinos Reserves take to the field at AMT Headingley against Castleford Tigers, kick off 5.15pm.

Available to watch live on Rhinos TV+ for subscribers (CLICK HERE to sign up), the Rhinos are closing in on a spot in the top six, and subsequently a chance to compete for a Grand Final place. With three games left, including Friday's clash against the Tigers, a strong performance would give the Rhinos gap to Friday's opponents as Castleford also fight for a spot in the six.

Tickets including both games are available at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, but tickets are not available for only the Reserves game.


Saturday 23rd May

Leeds Rhinos Women vs Featherstone Rovers

After last week's opening game against Wigan, Leeds Rhinos Women have their first home game of the Betfred Women's Super League season on Saturday afternoon against Featherstone Rovers at AMT Headingley, kick off 2pm.

Lois Forsell's side are unbeaten against Rovers since the sides first met in 2018 and look to get their home form off to a winning start before York Valkyrie take on the Rhinos in round three. Featherstone defeated London Broncos in the Championship Grand Final to earn promotion back to the Super League tier and head to AMT Headingley for their second consecutive away game after last week's defeat against Leigh.

Tickets (including both the Women's Academy and Super League games) can be purchased in advance online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, or on matchday, tickets will be available to purchase at the Gate B on St Michaels Lane turnstiles (cash or card payments available. Subject to availability). Rhinos Members can access the game for FREE (just show a previous match ticket showing their membership status OR their membership card for entry. For non-members tickets are priced at £10 Adults (17 and over) and FREE for Juniors aged 16 and under. 

 

Leeds Rhinos Under-19s Women's Academy vs Featherstone Rovers Under-19s Women's Academy

As with all Women's games at AMT Headingley this season, the Rhinos Under-19s Women's Academy are in action before the Women's Super League game as Ellis Pascall's side takes on Featherstone Rovers, kick off 11.30am.

After a tough fought win against Wigan last weekend, the Rhinos look to add a second home win of the season against a Rovers side that they scored a combined 104 points against last season. Featherstone have suffered a tough start to the year, particularly against York and Wigan, but get the chance to test themselves again this campaign with a trip to AMT Headingley.

Loughborough Lightning vs NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball

The penultimate game of NIC Leeds Rhinos Netball's season pits Lauren Palmer's side up against league leaders Loughborough Lightning at the Sir David Wallace Arena, FCP 6pm.

Off the back of their clash against Manchester Thunder, the Rhinos face a tough test if they're to close their year in winning rom as they take on a Lightning side who have only been beaten once in 2026.

Tickets are available to buy now here and includes the NXT GEN game between Loughborough and Leeds (FCP 3.30pm). Ticket prices start from £15.15 for adults and £10.80 for Under-18s, Students, Concessions (65+), plus family bookings and group bookings are available.
