Essentional information if you are coming to Friday's game

This Friday will be one of the highlights of our year at AMT Headingley with our annual MND Awareness game as we welcome the reigning World Club Champions Hull KR to our home and we need your help to make the night as special as possible.

As well as raising awareness and funds for the MND community, we also come together to celebrate the life of Rob Burrow with a near capacity crowd there to pay their respects to Rob and give his family their support.

However, we need your help to make sure we can do this as respectfully as possible and ensure everyone is able to make the most of the match night experience at AMT Headingley.

Get here early

The biggest assistance you can do is please arrive early. The turnstiles will open at 5pm with the Reserves in action against Wigan, kick off 5.15pm. Come on down and get to your position or seat early so you know where you need to be. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at tickets.therhinos.co.uk. Leeds Rhinos tickets are available to use on a smartphone using the RhinosTix app. Further information on Smartphone / Print @ Home tickets is available by clicking here. You will receive useful reminders via the RhinosTix app so have your tickets downloaded ready, your QR code will show on the morning of the game.

If you have a seat ticket, you must sit in the seat that is allocated to your ticket. If you have a terrace ticket, we would ask all supporters to remember that the capacity for the terrace is for the full terrace and not everyone can stand in the middle. If you are near a barrier, your body should be next to the barrier, for the comfort of all spectators please do not stand two steps away and lean on the barrier. A bumper crowd and the nature of a standing terrace does mean that you will be close to other spectators, side by side, but by looking after each other, we are sure you will enjoy your night together and you may even make a few new friends! If you feel uncomfortable, our safety team will direct you to areas that are less busy as the evening goes on, please follow their instruction, it is for the benefit of everyone.

Be kind to staff and fellow fans

With a bumper crowd, there may be a number of fans who are not used to attending games at the Rhinos or could be new to Rugby League. Please respect and support each other, perhaps if you see someone who looks like they don’t know where to go, ask them if they need any help. Our safety staff are there to help too and we will have extra staff available to assist everyone in getting to where they need to be.

Respect others in terrace areas

Supporters with tickets for the South Stand Terrace should please note that entrances may shut temporarily if an area becomes congested however, they will reopen should space in that area of the terrace allow. Central areas will get busy first, arrive early into your position if this is where you would like to stand. Towards kick off, space will be available but may be at the ends of the terrace.

Please respect staff and other supporters; allow them passed you to space so we can utilise all available areas. Do not stand on yellow areas, obstruct gangways, access or exit / entrance routes, stairways or similar.

Be in your position by 7.15pm to be part of the night

We would ask all supporters where possible to be in position for 7.15pm. The on field presentation in partnership with Sky Sports will start at 7.30pm sharp with special messages on the big screen plus the return of Opera Man John Innes on the pitch for all to enjoy.

Rob Burrow’s former team mates will form a guard of honour to welcome both teams onto the field and we have something incredibly unique before kick off that you do not want to miss. To complete the celebrations, Rob and Lindsey’s children, Macy, Maya and Jackson will bring out the match ball.

Remember the ground regulations

We have introduced additional stewards into the area to manage the crowds and ensure all yellow areas are kept clear. Any fans who choose not to comply will be ejected as per the ground regulations which, as a fan, you adhere to upon purchasing a season membership or match ticket. These can be found online https://www.therhinos.co.uk/tickets/ground-regulations/. We want to all enjoy the night together, please follow the instructions when asked and it means everyone, fans and staff, can enjoy the night together.

As with all home games, Leeds Rhinos have a zero-tolerance approach to fans who are in breach of the AMT Headingley Stadium

Ground Regulations. Fans are reminded that bags no larger than A4 are allowed into AMT Headingley Stadium. Bags will be searched on arrival and fans may also be searched upon entry. Supporters are reminded that this season we also have additional support from search dogs and their handlers at all entry points. If you see any activity that you feel is suspicious please report this to a member of staff or use our Fans Phone, details of which are below. Anyone failing to comply with ground regulations will not be allowed into the stadium.

If in doubt, ask for help from one of our staff

The safety of our fans is paramount to the club and we do not wish to compromise fan experience. If you have an issue on match day it is always best to flag this up at the time and if you don't feel your feedback has been dealt with then the Fan Experience team are always in the ticket office on match day to help our supporters. It always helps us to help you if we can deal with a matter at the time.

Stay safe in the warm weather

There are currently no UK weather warnings in place for this Friday from the Met Office and temperatures are forecast to cool to around 24°C in West Yorkshire by kick off. However, we would always advise spectators to take pre-cautions with their own personal well being around the stadium. There are free to use water fountains situated on all sides of the ground to refill water bottles and tap water available at the bars plus there are shaded areas under the cricket Western Terrace, the North Stand concourse, the upper level of the AMT East Stand concourse and the South Stand concourse. If you are feeling overheated please think about moving to one of these areas for some rest, the game will be available to view on the televisions in these areas too. As always, if you are feeling unwell please contact a member of staff and we can help you seek medical attention.

Use the Fans Phone to help us spot any issues quickly

We would like to remind our fans about the Fans Phone.  The objective of the Fans Phone is to provide a text service for all fans within AMT Headingley Stadium to be able to link directly to our match day control room and notify them of any issues within the stadium.

The text line number is 07500 312 832 and texts are charged at standard network rate. Please provide as much detail as possible about what is going and your location to allow our stewards to monitor the situation and act where necessary.

The Fans Phone allow you to report any issues anonymously and to ensure our fans don't feel in danger by visibly reporting issues to stewards. Please report issues on match day as it is difficult to manage matters after the event. We understand that it can be intimidating to confront someone whose behaviour you deem is unacceptable and our stewards are there to do that for you.

When you report on the Fans Phone, the person who is creating the issue has no idea that you are texting us, you could just as easily be looking at tweets or texting a friend so please help us to help you. Please however, only use the Fans Phone for real concerns; texts which give untrue or irrelevant information do not help anyone to make things right.
