What's on this week at the Rhinos
With the 2026 season reaching the business end of the campaign, Rhinos fans have a full menu of matches available to watch over the course of the week.
This week's fixtures could have huge ramifications on the final stages of the season for the Men's, Women's, Under-19s and Under-18s Academies and Wheelchair sides. Wednesday and Saturday's Academy action sees Ellis Pascall's Women's Under-19s side aim to keep their unbeaten streak intact against York before Chev Walker's Men's Under-18s Academy have the chance to book a Grand Final spot against Warrington (LIVE on Rhinos TV+).
Attention then moves to Sunday, as a double header of action at York's LNER Community Stadium could see Brad Arthur and Lois Forsell's sides stay in their League Leaders' Shield fights. Action back in Leeds also sees the Wheelchair side take on Hull FC as James Simpson-Hill's side have eyes on booking their semi-final place.
Here are the matches coming up for you this weekend:
Wednesday 19th August
York Valkyrie Under-19s Women's Academy vs Leeds Rhinos Under-19s Women's Academy
Wednesday night rugby league is back for our Under-19s Women's Academy as the Rhinos head to Heworth RLFC to take on York Valkyrie Under-19s Academy, kick-off 7pm.
Leeds' unbeaten run continued last weekend when they overcame the challenge of Featherstone in a 52-0 result at the Millenium Stadium to take their streak to nine wins for the season. After defeating York 22-0 when the sides met in June, Ellis Pascall's side hope to add another victory away from home as they take on a Valkyrie side that lost out 20-0 to St Helens last week.
Saturday 22nd August
Leeds Rhinos Under-18s Academy vs Warrington Wolves Under-18s Academy
The final place in this year's Under-18s Academy Grand Final will be decided on Saturday when Leeds Rhinos take on Warrington Wolves at Stanningley live on Rhinos TV+, kick-off 12pm.
With one win each during the top four qualifiers campaign and Wigan already confirmed in the season finale, the fixture is truly a winner-takes-all clash as Chev Walker's side look to bounce back from defeat to the Warriors last week and the Wolves aim to build on a high-scoring win over Castleford.
Entry to the game is priced at £5 adults, £3 concessions and free for Under-16s. If you're a Rhinos TV+ customer, you can watch the whole game live too.
Fans are reminded when parking at Stanningley to be courteous to the surrounding residents and use either the main car park or the large car park on the entrance to the ground.
Sunday 23rd August
York Valkyrie vs Leeds Rhinos Women
A Super League double header at the LNER Community Stadium on Sunday kicks off with the latest action from the Women's Super 4s, as the Rhinos take on the Valkyrie, kick-off 12pm.
A fortnight after Leeds put York to the sword 38-16 in a thrilling performance at AMT Headingley, the sides meet for a second time since the season split as the race for the League Leaders' Shield intensifies. A win over St Helens kept the Rhinos just two points behind the current holders, Wigan Warriors, who posted 44 points past the Valkyrie to keep them bottom of the table. Leon Pryce's side look to respond on Sunday with a winning result, or face falling out of contention for a semi-final spot later in September.
Entry to the Women's game is included in all match tickets for the main men's game. With under 1,000 tickets remaining, fans are encouraged to act fast to secure their tickets. Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair vs Hull FC Wheelchair
Eyes will also be fixed on the latest round of Wheelchair Super League action on Sunday as Leeds Rhinos look to close the gap to Wigan Warriors and London Roosters as James Simpson-Hill's side take on Hull FC at The Edge on Sunday, kick-off 1.30pm.
In the penultimate game of the regular season, the Rhinos have the chance to end their home games on a high ahead of a trip to Wigan in the final game before the semi-finals in September. Having posted 100 points against both Hull earlier in the season and against Bradford last time out, the side is running in form just at the right time of the season. Hull have enjoyed a much-improved second season in the Super League competition with three wins to their name in 2026. With winning results against Edinburgh and two versus Bradford so far in 2026, they enter this week's fixture off the back of three consecutive defeats
Entry is free for all.
York Knights vs Leeds Rhinos
After the Women's game, focus shifts to the Betfred Super League as Leeds Rhinos look to get back to winning ways when Brad Arthur's side take on York Knights at the LNER Community Stadium for the first time in the competition's history, kick-off 3pm.
Defeat to Leigh Leopards, coupled with Wigan's win over Bradford, sees the Rhinos and Warriors locked on 36 points heading into the final rounds of the season, so victory over the Knights is paramount if the Rhinos want to lift the League Leaders' Shield in three games' time. Mark Applegarth's York side also requires wins if they are to avoid getting drawn into a potential fight for the wooden spoon. Currently two points clear of Hull, Huddersfield and Bradford below them, the Knights have the chance to make a late rally up the table should they get a win over the Rhinos at the weekend.
With under 1,000 tickets remaining, fans are encouraged to act fast to secure their tickets. Buy online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk, over the phone on 0371 423 1315 and from Leeds Rhinos Ticket Office Transfer Windows (Opening Hours) now.
