This week marks the conclusion of the regular league season for Leeds Rhinos' Men's and Women's sides, plus an exciting semi-final clash on Sunday for the club's Wheelchair Super League team.

Here are the matches coming up for you this week:

Wednesday 16th September

York Valkyrie Under-19s Academy vs Leeds Rhinos Women Under-19s Academy

Aiming to end 2026 unbeaten, Leeds Rhinos Under- 19s Women's Academy make the short trip to York St John University Sports Park to take on York Valkyrie Under-19s Academy on Wednesday, kick off 7pm.

After concluding their home fixtures with a 22-10 triumph over St Helens thanks to two tries from Teigan Phelan and scores from Trinity Gallagher, Grace Larvin and Player of the Year Millie Sadler, Ellis Pascall's side look to finish a stellar campaign against a York side, who ended the Rhinos' 2025 season with defeat. Three months on from Leeds' 22-0 victory at a wet AMT Headingley back in June, the Valkyrie are aiming to bounce back from a run of three defeats, including two shutout scorelines against Wigan and St Helens.

For fans wanting to attend, spectators and any other vehicles can pay for parking by following the instructions on signs around the car park. There are a limited number of parking spaces on site; if full please keep an eye out for information on additional off-site parking availability. Entry is a cash donation on the gate (York recommend £3 Adults, and FREE for children). Entry to the pitch is via the side gate only, not from inside the main sports centre.

Friday 18th September

Leeds Rhinos Women vs York Valkyrie

Leeds Rhinos and York Valkyrie go head-to-head for the final place in the 2026 Betfred Women's Super League Grand Final on Friday night as one of the sides look to join Wigan Warriors in this year's finale live on Sky Sports, kick off 5.15pm.

Lois Forsell's side had booked their place as the home side despite a drop-off in form, but they enter Friday's clash with two wins against Leon Pryce's side already this year (both of which were at AMT Headingley). A win would also put the Rhinos back in the Grand Final for the first time since 2023. York pulled off a shock win over Wigan Warriors in their final game of the Super 4s to confirm a spot in the semi finals as the two-time Grand Final winners aim to beat the Rhinos on the road to rematch with the Warriors in a week's time.

Tickets for the match can be purchased in advance online at tickets.therhinos.co.uk. Tickets will then be available to download to the RhinosTix App for fans to use on their smartphones to be scanned at the entry gate.

On matchday, tickets will be available to purchase at the Gate B, St Michaels Lane turnstiles (cash or card payments available. Subject to availability)

Sunday 20th September

Leeds Rhinos Wheelchair vs Halifax Panthers Wheelchair

Halifax Panthers will face Leeds Rhinos in the 2026 Betfred Wheelchair Super League Grand Final on Sunday 20 September (KO 5:30pm), after both sides claimed convincing Play-Off wins at the weekend.

The Panthers booked their place on Saturday with another victory over London Roosters.

The sides had met just a week earlier, when the Panthers edged a six-point win. This time, in the semi-final, the Roosters were unable to maintain their early momentum as the Panthers took control after half-time.

London started strongly, leading 4-12 early on after Mason Billington and Lewis King crossed, with both tries converted by Max Owen.

But the Panthers soon took charge, inspired by Rob Hawkins, who delivered another standout performance with six tries and a strong return from the tee.

On Sunday, Leeds Rhinos claimed the remaining Grand Final place with victory over Wigan Warriors.

Despite holding only a narrow lead at the break, the Rhinos surged clear after half-time, scoring four tries in the opening 14 minutes to move beyond the Warriors’ reach.

Josh Butler and Nathan Collins led the way for Leeds, adding seven tries between them, while Tristan Norfolk and Nathan Mulhall each earned braces. Collins also kicked 11 goals from 13 attempts, underlining the impressive form he carries into the Grand Final.

The semi-final results send both teams into their second final of the season, following their meeting in July’s Betfred Wheelchair Challenge Cup Final.

The Rhinos will be determined to deny the Panthers a third trophy after falling short in the Challenge Cup Final, while Halifax will aim to make history by completing back-to-back trebles.
