Leeds Rhinos Women have finished top of their Challenge Cup group after another strong win, beating London Broncos Women 72-0.

Evie Cousins crossed for four tries, whilst try doubles came for Ruby Enright, Lucy Murray, Connie Boyd and Ebony Stead. Grace Short also crossed for a four-pointer. Georgia Elliston made her Rhinos debut after joining the club in the off-season from Australia.

The result means that Leeds end the group stage campaign without conceding a point, having beaten Leigh Leopards Women 82-0 a fortnight ago.

The Rhinos Women will now take on Cardiff Demons in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals on Saturday 25th April.

Leeds took no time at all to get started, with a try double from Evie Cousins and scores from Ebony Stead, Ruby Enright and Lucy Murray all coming in the opening 20 minutes.

Stead got the first points of the day, breaking down the left edge before cutting inside to score under the posts. Cousins' first came next, before Enright crossed for Leeds' third, carrying the London full-back over the line with her as she went over to score.

England international Murray went over from close range to make it 24-0, before Cousins bagged her second after combining with Grace Short on the right flank.

Connie Boyd and Grace Short were next on the scoresheet. Centre Boyd received the ball 15m from the line and carried defenders over the whitewash to score before Short took the defence on herself to score Leeds' seventh of the first half.

The final try of the first half came in the form of Murray's second, who proved too strong for the London defence as she touched down under the sticks.
Mel Howard was on kicking duties for the first half, and she slotted over six conversions, giving Leeds a 44-0 lead at the break.

Cousins' third and fourth try opened the second-half scoring. Firstly, the centre broke down the right edge to score before then converting a scrum opportunity, bumping off a London defender before racing 40 metres to cross in the corner to give Leeds a 54-0 lead.

Second tries for Stead and Enright came next. Stead broke free from half-way to go in untouched whilst Enright went 90 metres in her score, picking up a low London kick before breaking the line and going the distance.

The final try of the game went to Boyd, who bagged a double. The centre busted through the London defence in her own 20 and was another to score from long-rang to take her tally to three for the season.
