An Academy graduate, Lee Smith was equally adept at full back and winger. He scored four tries in three Grand Final appearances between 2007 and 2009, helping the Rhinos to an unprecedented three titles in a row in the Super League era.
His best performance came in 2008 when he was drafted into the side at full back when Brent Webb was ruled out with a back injury and he went on to win the Harry Sunderland award as the man of the match.
Having initially left the Rhinos at the end of the 2009 season, he was back at the club midway through the 2010 season after a short spell in Rugby Union with Wasps. He left the Rhinos in 2012 for a second time, to join Wakefield Trinity.
