Prop Tom Holroyd made his Rhinos debut against Catalans Dragons after an impressive season with the Academy in 2018.  He played a further three games in 2019 and in 2020, he had a breakthrough season and made seven appearances for the first team.

In 2021, Holroyd made 16 appearances, mostly off the bench, before an injury in pre season ruled the forward out of the majority of the 2022 season. He was quickly back amongst the action in 2023 as his club form earned the prop earned England honours against France in the mid-season 64-0 win. At Leeds, he scored five tries in 24 stellar games. 2024 on the other hand proved a tough year for the prop as he was restricted to six games due to concussion.

Tom was one of 13 players that joined the Academy in 2017 alongside five of his Siddal team mates. He grasped his opportunity with the club, finishing his second season with ten tries in twenty appearances. In 2018 after making his Leeds debut he returned to the Academy coming off the bench in their semi-final and in the Grand Final. He started and scored for the Under-19s in their first match of the season against Wakefield Trinity and went on to play for the first team over the next three matches, coming off the bench against London Broncos and Castleford Tigers at Headingley and Catalans Dragons in Perpignan. He played a further two games for the Under-19s but an ankle injury ruled him out for the remainder of the year.

At Siddal he won the National and Yorkshire Cup in four different age groups. In 2018, he was also called up for the Yorkshire Academy and England Academy that historically beat Australia Schoolboys on home turf. He has represented England at Under-16 and Under-18 level.
