Leeds Rhinos Greatest Super League games 30-21
On Sunday 29th March, Leeds Rhinos will host Warrington Wolves at AMT Headingley on a special occasion for the Super League competition. The game will mark 30 years to the day since the first Super League game between Paris and Sheffield, with Leeds and Warrington having met on that inaugural weekend back in 1996.
To mark the occasion, the Rhinos have unveiled a new look heritage shirt and there will be a great retro feel around the gameday and build up. To celebrate the last three decades we are counting down Leeds' top 100 Super League games including play offs, Super 8s and Grand Finals.
Every day we will be revealing another ten games building up to Friday 27th March when the top ten will be announced.

30. Leeds Rhinos v Bradford Bulls 2006
The Rhinos did a “Bradford” on the Bulls, snatching a 26-24 victory in the last second with a Scott Donald try converted from the touchline by Rob Burrow.
29. Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors 2005
There was a sense of deja vu for Ian Millward at Headingley as the Rhinos won 70-0 against his team for the second season running.
The win was the Rhinos biggest ever over Wigan and was also Wigan’s biggest ever defeat eclipsing the 58-3 beating also handed out at Headingley back in October 1972.
28. Leeds Rhinos v Bradford Bulls Magic Weekend 2007
Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls brought down the curtain on the first ever Magic Weekend with one of the most controversial victories in the history of Super League.
Kevin Sinfield opted to go for goal in the final minute to try and draw the game against Bradford. Had the Bulls won, they would have gone top of Super League however when Jordan Tansey touched down the ball after it had rebounded off the post, it took Leeds top and Bradford are yet to return to the top of Super League since.
27. Leeds Rhinos v St Helens Super 8s 2017
Leeds Rhinos gave the famous South Stand a fitting farewell with an impressive performance against St Helens at Emerald Headingley.
Leeds Rhinos made it a special night with a try apiece for Ryan Hall and Adam Cuthbertson in the second half to secure victory over St Helens.
26. Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors Grand Final Eliminator 2007
Aiming to return to the Grand Final having missed out the previous year, Tony Smith’s Leeds side looked to bounce back from defeat to Champions St Helens with a home clash against Wigan Warriors.
25. Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors 2008
For the second season running, Super League champions Leeds Rhinos took on Wigan Warriors at Headingley for a place at Old Trafford.
24. Bradford Bulls v Leeds Rhinos 2004
Leeds Rhinos ended a 23-month wait for a win against Bradford Bulls with a 26-18 triumph at Headingley.
The Rhinos ended Bradford's 100% start to the year and kept themselves unbeaten at the top of Super League with the victory, their first in the last eight meetings.
They were inspired by two-try Danny McGuire, but matched the Bulls blow for blow in a thrilling game watched by 21,225 supporters.
23. Wigan Warriors v Leeds Rhinos 2012
Leeds Rhinos produced one of their greatest ever performances to book a return to Old Trafford with an incredible 13-12 win over Wigan.
Much of the build up to the game had been dominated by the suspension of Leeds star Danny McGuire but the pre-match talk was all focused on Sam Tomkins, the Man of Steel elect, who was absent from the Wigan team sheet after he failed a late fitness test.
22. Catalans Dragons v Leeds Rhinos 2022
Leeds Rhinos recorded an incredible Golden Point win over Catalans Dragons in Perpignan as they fought back from 30-6 down with 25 minutes to go and a man down to secure a 36-32 victory.
Richie Myler's hat-trick and Brad Dwyer's late score were added to by a Rhyse Martin penalty to square it up. Aidan Sezer crossed to bring Leeds the win in the extra-time period.
21. Leeds Rhinos v St Helens 2003
Leeds Rhinos produced a remarkable come back to defeat St Helens at Headingley. Trailing 20-0 late on, an announcement about season tickets for the 2004 season was greeted with a chorus of boos by the home fans however those soon turned to cheers as Leeds raced back with 30 unanswered points to snatch victory in a style that would lead to the title the following season.
