The game will mark 30 years to the day since the first Super League game between Paris and Sheffield, with Leeds and Warrington having met on that inaugural weekend back in 1996.
To mark the occasion, the Rhinos have unveiled a new look heritage shirt and there will be a great retro feel around the gameday and build up. To celebrate the last three decades we are counting down Leeds' top 100 Super League games including play offs, Super 8s and Grand Finals.

Leeds Rhinos Greatest Games 20-11
20. Leeds Rhinos v Castleford Tigers 2008
The Champions produced one of the most heroic wins in the clubs history to beat Castleford 18-12 at Headingley. Leeds were without 14 first team players and fielded a team that included 13 players from the club’s academy system plus the four overseas players.
19. Bradford Bulls v Leeds Rhinos 1998
Iestyn Harris inspired Graham Murray’s side to an incredible win at Odsal at Easter 1998.
Champions Bradford had bullied the Rhinos in the early years of Super League but the Leeds pack, led by Darren Fleary, showed they were ready to take the fight to the Bulls now.
18. Leeds Rhinos v Hull FC Grand Final semi final 2017
This game was full of emotion as Danny McGuire and Rob Burrow said goodbye to the Leeds Rhinos fans at Headingley one last time and we said farewell to the old Headingley North Stand. The Rhinos had been written off most of the season but were now 80 minutes away from returning to Old Trafford.
17. Wigan Warriors v Leeds Rhinos 1998
Central Park, Wigan had become a graveyard for many teams seasons over two decades, not least Leeds as they followed in the wake of the all conquering Wigan team.
So for Leeds fans who made the journey over in 1998 to see Graham Murray’s side victory was a hope rather than expectation. However a dominant display from the visitors helped erase so many painful memories.
16. Leeds Rhinos v St Helens 2004
Leeds Rhinos became the first team ever to nil St Helens in the Super League era on a night that will live long in the memory of anyone who was at Headingley that night.
Leeds scored four tries in the opening 14 minutes effectively ending the game as a contest. The first came inside 90 seconds to winger Marcus Bai before McGuire scored the next three for a eight-minute hat-trick as Leeds ran out 70-0 winners.
15. Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors Grand Final Eliminator 2004
Nerves were high at Headingley back in 2004. Having dominated the competition all year, Leeds lost to Bradford in the Grand Final Qualifier and faced their old foe Wigan for a third year running in the elimination game however Tony Smith’s side were made a stronger stuff this time around.
14. Catalans Dragons v Leeds Rhinos, Play offs 2012
Leeds flew into Perpignan on the day of this classic clash and made a smash and grab raid to take the place in the next round of the play offs with a special try from Danny McGuire, set up by an incredible run from Ryan Bailey to seal the win.
13. Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos, Las Vegas 2026
An unforgettable night in Las Vegas saw Leeds Rhinos demolish newly crowned World Champions Hull KR 58-6 at Allegiant Stadium thanks to a man of the match performance from winger Maika Sivo.
A year after being ruled out with an ACL injury for the entirety of the 2025 season, Sivo was unstoppable with two tries each in both halves, plus Brodie Croft, Keenan Palasia, Ryan Hall and Cooper Jenkins found the try line to take apart the 2025 treble winners.
12. Leeds Rhinos v St Helens Grand Final Semi Final 2015
On an emotional night at Emerald Headingley, Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai played their final games at their home ground as they kept the Treble dream alive.
11. Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves Grand Final 2012
Leeds Rhinos defeated Warrington Wolves in the 2012 Stobart Super League Final to be crowned the Champions for the fifth time in six years in an incredible night at Old Trafford.
